Re: sunday div one

This sundays game against Ghan was the most disgusting game I have ever watched in my life of amateur football. Started of with the farce of the reserves. Due to a keeper getting pushed out of someones face in the middle of the ground and not moving till an ambo came. What was a keeper doing in the...

jeeez, I thought Downs should have won that game comfortably, even first half but Downs laid siege to the Gardens goal in the second half and only some heroics by Stam in goals kept Downs to the one goal. Garden have certainly impressed though this year.

Could this be the start of Downs having the ambition to join State League 2 & showing some of the other Northern clubs how its done ? Do the Downs also have some junior teams ? Be interesting to see :D Always had bucket loads of Junior teams in the E&DJS since early 1960s. The Downs have always had...

Inter had it well for a long time but youd have to think whether they should have invested more in a junior EnD setup. Has come back to bite them?

If requested, you can play home games on Sundays with FFSA. It's something and I assume currently when team is drawn away to a Saturday team in the SAASL cup, there are no major player availability issues? Spot on, Saturday 3pm days of NPL are gone. There's no reason home games cant be sunday 3pm, ...

probably 4 automatic starters havnt been available, Mooy, Arzani, Nabbout and Lecki - and them being near the best 4 players. Take that out of any team and you would see the effect.

No, Boyle came from an onside position when he got his foot to it, if it was one of the others then it would have been.
