Re: Adelaide Utd 2022-23 a season to forget
Another poor result against a very average Brisbane side and unfortunately another season to forget. You can take some positives, lots of young local girls getting valuable experience. Where to now though? For me - it's a bit of both, we don't have the cattle and we don't seem to have a coach that c...

Re: Women's A League and Payment
Good article about Emily and her injury battle. I wish her a full recovery. A very good player and person. Good to read the appalling pay the female players had been receiving from their time at AUFC and possibly at other A League women's clubs. $60 per game? Average time commitment about 12 hours;...

Re: Season 2023.
Granted Uni did have few high quality players that made the difference. Look at who scored the goals. Take away 2-3 players and you’d expect a closer score line.
There’s always going to be a gap, but I don’t think it’s widening.

Re: Season 2023.
Good to see new clubs staying up in WNPL like Flinders, and clubs like Fulham who has struggled in recent years being relegated forcing them to now regroup and restructure to get promoted again. Hopefully one of the State League cubs can knock off Adelaide Uni too,. Makes its more interesting with ...

Re: WNPL / WSL Cup
What's the thoughts of those out there of Reserves competing in the Cup against WNPL and WSL 1st Teams? Time to remove them and just have the WNPL and State League clubs. The reserves dont really need a Cup, their aim is to try and get into the first team. Or put them into the Div 1 Cup instead. No...

Re: WNPL and State sports Park
Some teams use the same home grounds as their mens sides (Metro, Adelaide City, West Adelaide, Adelaide Uni, etc) whereas some clubs don't have grounds that meet the requirements neccesary to host NPL games so Gepps Cross is their nominated home ground (Salisbury Inter, Modbury Vista, Comets) I und...

Re: Liberty A-League 2021/22 – Round 2 vs Canberra United
Our midfield has already shown since the introduction of Emma Stanbury an improved fighting spirit & Nanako also stepped up her game as she becomes more familiar with the W-League. I thought she gave away the ball too many times and was outmuscled too many times. If she can get the ball at her ...

You'd think we'd bounce back at home from what was a terribly average performance last week but I'm not s...

Regardless of who we didn't sign or who didn't want to sign we really need to pull a finger out and make finals this year.

Heather and all of her FFA glad waving allies need to be shown the door. Will they come out and say they were lead up the garden path? These people are in areas of influence, (Media/ex players) they also need to be held accountable.

The Bergers new signings didn't add too much to the team, losing 7-1 v Calder in the Community Cup at the weekend. Feat; 3 South Australians including ex West Adelaide striker Renae Pantelis.

Re: Adelaide United name squad
A few in there that shouldn't be imo. There were better players in the WNPL than some who were selected. And Mark Jones' daughter still in the squad. Which is absurd in itself. Definitely some big names missing. Some names shouldn't be there at all although I'm not sure if Jones is one of them, she...

They surely mean its the first International signing for this season. Last year the W-League team had three Americans and a New Zealander. none of them were senior international players though. the new signing is. Dahlkemper just made her debut for the USWNT last week, it's a shame she couldn't be ...

I think Salisbury would do alright if they pick up a couple key players. Tough luck to PHK/Cumberland if they get relegated. If you can't get the results you don't deserve to stay up.

Harnwell did a bloody good job with the little resources he had, he definitely needs to be offered another season to have another crack. If the bulk of our squad can be kept from last year we'd be a top 3 side.

One would think that the FFSA/Lady Reds management would move swiftly to secure key players and coaches for next season?
The club definitely needs to retain the bulk of the squad for next season otherwise all of the development is lost and they will have to start from scratch again!

Surely a decision would need to be made in the coming days, one would think that South would be the easy choice, but I doubt they'd have the depth within their senior squad to be competitive.
