Re: South Korea v Australia

I agree Oar was much more on the socceroos radar 5-6 years ago, then i think he lost his place when he went to Cyprus. This year he did't play for his club because he suffered a knee injury that ruled him out for all the season. He is still 27 years old, his career isn't over and i still want to con...

Re: South Korea v Australia

I agree on Goodwin: not a great match but we know he's better.
Another one who should be tried again for that position is Tommy Oar.
For the next matches McGree is another one who should make the step up.

Re: Socceroos - Road to 2019 AFC Asian Cup

Rogic has shown many times that he is not yet up to the level required for an international, his WC was very, very poor. He needs to be playing at a higher level to make the jump up in standard. Taggart is another one who flatters to deceive. Oar is the same, and I am yet to be convinced that Bratt...

Re: Provisional WC squad announced May 14

I also think the squad will be with Davidson at LB , Rogic as Attacking midfielder Leckie Striker with Cahill behind him and another defender McGowan or C.Good instead of Neill. That was the squad as I wanted to be only! Overall the squad is better than 1 year ago........anyway I think that Australi...

Re: Provisional WC squad announced May 14

McKay won't play left back. Taggart probably won't start. Leckie will be up front. Holman may not even go, let alone start. Neill won't het anywhere near the squad. Yes but Taggart should start even I think Leckie will be up front, Leckie can play as winger. Neill has more experience than any other...

Re: Future Socceroos 2014

I know these 3 players wouldn't be pickable for socceroos now, but there's plenty of time to get them ready before 2014. Jamieson is the only young LB that came to my mind. Cornthwaith, even if he won't be very young in 2014 I considered him because he is 197 cm and good with the head . Grant is a b...
