U13B Modbury 0:1 Croydon News on the forum grape vine - stiring the porridge, clubman, spooky1972 & AL K HOLIC all have inside information that a club pays referees to win games for them, seems they are talking for their clubs. These brave guys will soon be getting their clubs to write letters ...

Re: coaches behaviour
It's a shame that there are parents with the balls to blame anyone and everyone over a game for kids; stiring the porridge , clubman , spooky1972 . All tough and wise hiding behind a user name, coming into the junior forum to whine about a game for kids. I hate to say, but Jeda was right http://www...

Re: U15B table
That table has other issues also, I believe there is also a questionable officiated game against a club that has had similar complaints about officiating, not sure what the FFSA plans to do, if anything, but I believe a game was played without an official ref, so may be re played I assume, if the le...

Re: Cost for juniors
Most other clubs are around the $700 with a bag, ball, home strip, away(training) strip, jacket These kits would cost clubs around $100-150. The rest goes into running costs, lights, ground maintenance, coaches fees, rego costs etc. The clubs like City that charge extra, pay their coaches more. It'...

We have hit the time of year where clubs drop all their boys to either snatch a league or prevent relegation, because the clubs don't care about cattle stations...............

Re: Junior Cup Finals
It was appalling that the FFSA did not have any first aid or ambulance people on site, the poor kid sat in pain for over 10 minutes on the park before finally moving him. No word if it was a break or not but it was not good, shame shame shame FFSA. While I tend to agree it wouldn't be such a bad th...

drago ended up at white city....from what i know this yr he went to white city and in his 1st under 17s trial he had 7 players. within 2 months 40 players came in and they filled 16s and 17s teams. he coached the 17s and got everyone to have a taste in the 19s... 8 of his players became regulars in...

Re: Get the coaches right and our players will learn
I suppose that is debatable on what one considers a good or bad coach, since we dont consider wins or points etc important how do you measure that statement? Club? Team? Parents? Ladder? Win/loss ratio year after year? stir too much you get yogurt :P a bad coach doesn't know what makes a goo...

Re: Get the coaches right and our players will learn
The biggest problem is our grounds, it's all well and good to create and teach a wide or creating space type of play, then again any type of play, out from defence, whatever. Then week after week you play on cow paddocks and pitches the size of half a pitch, prime examples to name a few, Pirates, T...

Re: Aug 14th Results
Fortunately we have been lucky so far and on the many occassions no ref has showed, parents of both sides have been agreeable to a parent from each team reffing a half. We (as a group)tend to be more lenient of decisions/minor errors etc, but will concede none of the games in question have been cruc...

Got no idea how it can be flooded the grounds are not even flat they all have a huge mound in the middle shaped liked a hump, I possibly thought they did that on purpose to allow water to drain off, guess I'm just an idiot.

If it's the croy v toro ref then he's same ref who did damage at Birks v comet game. Must be very incompetent. From rumors out there this same ref did the same at another home game, visitors 4-1 up then suddenly a few send offs with the game ending 4-4, same grumbles of blatant one sided officiatin...

Every club chooses differently, the rich clubs who are not short of sponsors or players choose the best, while a struggling smaller club pick the ones that come as thats all they get. Some clubs could care less and just sign everyone and have 1-3 teams with the top 15 boys/girls in As with all other...

How can the FFSA have rules and regulations if they don't send an official neutral party to decide if such rules and regulations are breached or not breached. Taking one clubs voice over another will never hold up, so this answers all the questions of just how serious are the FFSA in their rules and...

Re: Aug 14th Results
Two equal clubs top of the ladder, Ref arrives at game in uniform, game starts, one team really notices that this ref is very one sided, dare I say blatantly. It is discovered that the Ref is not the designated ref for the game, and is in fact the father of a boy in the heavily one sided team, this...

Can someone please explain what is going on next year with the skillaroos. Has it been confirmed that they will be competing in the leagues?
