To be fair the opposition wasn't what you'd exactly call top of the tree.... You can only beat who you're playing. Obviously its a positive result which is wonderful but the true test of these sides is how many of these kids progress further in their careers. A lot of work goes into not only develo...

Exactly as it doesn't make sense. Thus no consideration of the wicket being "doctored" at all. Just elect to bat first as you normally would. Even SA players are saying it's greener than usual. 30 wickets in 2 days? So, it's doctoring if England does it but it's OK if SA or Aus do it? If ...

Clearly Val couldn't do 2 minutes of research, otherwise he would know that it's Tajikistan we play in the 24th with the Jordan game scheduled on the 29th. Is he that bad at his job that he doesn't even bother to try and find the answer?

I played against Mobilong many years ago as well. Even though both games were away, it wasn't really an issue in the scheme of a season. Both times the games were competitive and friendly with some good banter. Can't see how it would be any different if a team was entered again, especially with the ...

That's correct Jonomath. The keeper having the ball in his hands is not a dead ball, it is still in play, its just that he is protected from having it knocked/ kicked out of his hands. If the incident happened as described above with the keeper shoving a player hard enough to be booked, then a pena...

All of which I understand, but it does seem a ridiculous application of the law when the ball is in the centre circle when the keeper abuses the ref and a free kick is then given 50 yards away from where the ball is. It doesn't matter where the ball is (provided it is in play). It's no different to...

If you kicked someone with two feet, etc, on the streets you would get arrested too. Didn't Duncan Ferguson cop jail time after headbutting an opponent on the field? Biting someone comes under assault, same as a headbutt, so Suarez could easily have been arrested if Ivanovic hadn't declined to make...
