Re: Forza Juve

I dont buy the Fiat blah blah, more that Juve are the biggest club in Italy and therefore it appears that Refs are intimidated or something to call the decisions against them. Molinaro, well yeah I take your point, he is not that good. I'm sure with Ventura moving on, some of the deadwood will be go...

Re: Forza Juve

I reckon Juve do pretty well consistently with the refs in Italy, most non-Juve fans would agree with that as it is not 1-2 incidents a year, but numerous examples. E.g. Copa Italia- Torino vs Juve, Zaza commits two yellow card offences including a clear cut two footed challenge an gets away with it...

Re: Forza Juve

If you want to see rub of the green, just watch the last 4 Turin derbies. Pretty consistent in terms of one team getting the rub of the green every single time.

Re: Forza Juve

Euro leagues besides England were all won in a canter by the usual suspects. Clearly the financial gulf continues to grow between the leading clubs and the other 18-19 teams continues to grow. Pretty boring after the first 10 rds in serie A, most interesting was Roma and Napoli battling for second.c...

Re: Serie A discussion

Words fail me, then topped it off with home loss to Udinese. Ventura out of ideas? No Maksimovic, Avelar, Obi for long term injuries etc. have been an issue but letting EL Kaddouri return to Napoli and not replacing his playmaker style has hurt. Hope we can get someone like that in Jan. As for Juve,...

Re: Serie A discussion

Coppa Italia derby this week mate, Toro well rested after the fog in Sassuolo. Most disappointed after waking at 3:30am to watch that match and seeing a murky fog and no match :) Juve certainly look like they have turned the corner, Dybala showing why he was signed, he is quality. Napoli should have...

Re: Serie A discussion

 it was like a nightmare re-run of last years game, should have won, should have drawn but lost with the last kick of the game. Came down to GK's in the end, Buffon world class and Padelli = to serie C, plus the absence of 8 first choice players through injury didn't help. How Buffon saved both...

or Torino, in real trouble atm, Padelli has cost about 3 goals in the last 2 games alone.

Should be a cracker derby on Sunday morning

Re: Serie A discussion

I am so fed up with the coverage of Serie A on Bein Sport this season, it is pathetic. E.g. Verona and Torino was an 8:30pm Ko and instead they show a replay of La Liga, just crap. Torino still undefeated, if you see the highlights, checkout the penalty given to Verona for nothing over than an air s...

Re: Serie A discussion

Don't worry, I intend to. It's been a very long time! :D Whilst think Juve will improve and have made good signings, it will take some time to gel. No Pirlo is a massive loss. This year I think Inter and Roma will be strong and it should be tight finish hopefully . As for Toro, Quagliarella and Base...

Re: Serie A discussion

I have a funny feeling that Darmian would not have been sold to Juve, he was so loved by the fans and club, I just couldn't have seen him being sold to our main rivals. That being said, there are some recent dealings and if Juve had offered 25million, who knows! I guess he was a player that ev...

Re: Serie A discussion

I think you will find that Toro will not be selling anymore of their "big" players and Maksimovic will be in the granata again.
Club is finally financially sound and President Cairo seems to be keeping his word so far.

Re: Serie A discussion

Matteo Darmian to ManU, so Toro sign Baselli and Zappacosta from Atalanta. Not bad at all. Rumoured to be after Hernandez from Hull, team looks stronger and more balanced than last season despite the loss of Darmian Curious to see how Napoli looks under Sarri, seems to be a different approach in the...

Re: Serie A discussion

Agree, Bein has been woeful of late. May as well cancel it.

Maxi Lopez looks like he is carrying 10kg, but scored two including one where he burnt off the Chievo defender with his blistering pace and calmly slotting it.
Cerci being linked back to Toro. Should have stayed in the 1st place!

Re: Serie A discussion

20 years in the making, Sempre Granata!
That was a great game, end to end, a brilliant Pirlo free kick, the post on 3 occasisons- but finally a win against Juve and a real shot at a Europa league spot now.

I am super stoked today!!

Re: Serie A discussion

lazio playing very well, Juve roll on, Roma and Napoli faltering a little. The run home for 2-5 positions is going to be interesting, Napoli have possibly the most difficult run home and must be at risk of dropping out of the top 5. Inter are going south rapidly, Parma is just sad to see. The Toro v...

Re: Serie A discussion

And Carmine, on that note, we blow it against Udinese. But would say that was a very unlucky loss.

I get up for pretty much all games, Zenit at 3:30am, no problem!

So there are two of us in Adelaide, Sempre Granata!

Re: Serie A discussion

GLIK GLIK GLIK
6 goals for a CB, not bad at all El Capitano.

Torino march on undefeated in about 12 now. Good game against Napoli, quite even, but reckon Toro edged it and were worthy winners.

Re: Serie A discussion

Torino, unbeaten in 11!
Lucky to not concede 3 penalties against Fiorentina, and teh one we did, was saved well by Padelli.
Great character to equalize at teh end too!

next up Napoli at home, usually a good game and hopeful that Napoli are having an off day. No Mertens will help!
