Re: Venue for Cup finals

Hope you are right, There has been no confirmation of this to the Clubs and no official statement on the FFSA website. So which club are you Chairman of?    OK so I'm convinced . It's Hindmarsh this year for cup finals. 3 cheers for FFSA. My next beef. Who pays the Refs? I thin...

Venue for Cup finals

Thanks Bomber for raising this issue. The Juniors and the Senior teams in this State making the Cup finals deserve the right to play at Hindmarsh. If the FFSA is using the cup finals to promote Burton ahead of Junior players enjoying their once in a lifetime dream to play at Hindmarsh then it is cru...

Pandora' box !! a voice. Forget the coaches/players/clubs- old ground revisted, Buddy. Try the the FFSA & FFA governing bodies. Feel sorry for Frank Lowery wasting his money on an A league where at some games the seagulls outnumbered the spectators. Pim Verbeek was right and he ended up sacking ...

Re: junior football

Gotta show this to all the people from CCSC telling me CCSC juniors are in disarray and imploding, and see what they've got to say. "imploding"...please explain... CCSC had what they needed for their juniors to succeed...he is now at White City. Have a look at the U15A tables for this yea...

Re: junior football

Finally, CCSC is taking junior coaching seriously and setting up for a bright future, The current 19s, Reserves and even the Seniors not looking healthy near the bottom of the table. Are these players products of poor junior coaching at the club over the last 5 years ? Good luck to Maurice. He will ...

Re: Best Junior Goalies

It's the only way they (Goalie Guys and Gals) can get known to those State and SASI selectors who have their preferred sides like Comets and forget about the A and B division juniors. Maybe they should go and watch a young lad from eastern side. Does anyone know his name ? JUST STOP PLAYING GAMES A...

   Can see Y CT U15As heading for relegation. B players from a C division pretending to compete in an A division comp. No problems at White City. Re: Best Junior Coach

Drago was the best because he knew how to pick talent. When he switched clubs he brought with him winning mentality and talent. His ace team of U14As at Campbelltown from 2010 has disbanded. Don't know current composition of the side U15As CT but results suggest could be a tough season. Para Hills b...

Re: Cup Round Results

Seems like the FFSA has changed the fencing rules to accommodate the poorer teams in the Western Suburbs like Comets,West Adelaide and Cobras not sure about Olympic. Regardless of what opposing teams are saying the players of these teams deserve better. Maybe the FFSA could offer Santos stadium at l...

Sorry CEO for confusing the issue. My reference to "coaching quality" was intended for DP and definitely not MZ, who by the way has had cup and championship success at the Junior level.

Re: 17A Sides In 2008

DP for ABE is the best 17s coach in the A Division. Played and has had success at the highest level. Do I need to say anymore.Thought MZ had the goods for AC, but lost his first match. Ask the players and parents, $600 is cheap for coaching quality.

Re: 17A Sides In 2008

ABE will be the side to beat in 17As comp 2008. Cup finalists and top 2 championship placings in last 2 years (16s ). Team mostly intact and nice new pickps with some talent. Watch out Metro and AC , the BEs are out to get you. Forget what the 15As of last year (PH and others) did, this is a real 17...

Sounds like season's over for the Campbelltown boys. No goalie, no key defender. Will definitely drop down the table. Pity QF cup round would have been an interesting contest but AC 4-1 easily and to contest final at Hindmarsh against ABE. Watchout for the Northern Demons though, likely to be the Da...

Normally, when there is a serious injury where an ambulance needs to be called , in the JPL, the ref may approach the coaches and call the game off. What did happen in this game?

Sure AC should win easily but if Seaford score, they've done more than most teams in this league have done. Seaford's 1 goal will be worth 10 goals of AC. So AC10 : Seaford 1 call it a draw. AC 10:Seaford 2, IMO win to Seaford, considering that AC have only conceded 5 goals this season.

Well Done to the officials of Adelaide City for selecting the best Venue to stage this top JPL game. Too hard to pick a winner, AC has the better defence but ABE have the slightly better strike power. Who will win ???
