Re: Kick off times

Who in there right mind schedules games for 8.45am on a Sunday morning? The only day a sleep in is warranted and when you have all the teams from far south and hills its a 5am start. Rant over - thoughts? You think you have it tough.. Imagine the club volunteers who are there way before others turn...

Re: smoking at junior events........

Fair call and realise that it isnt that major now but with councils now trying to introduce smoking bans on council/public land it could be an issue in the future. Also several other codes have introduced no smoking at junior sporting events. Also was trying to start a thread as the junior forum wa...

Re: 30 man squad - what age level should this be implemented

Thanks to all for some very valuable input. Just sounding the alarm bells as I predict this "30 man squad" system will be making its way into many clubs. i.e. Announce the "30 man squad" at the end of trials but not announce the JPL and JSL teams until season start. Its the club...

Re: Wales better than England

Size (noun) is pretty much self-explanatory - The relative extent of something; a thing’s overall dimensions or magnitude; how big something is: Therefore Australia (also a noun, as in country) is bigger than England - easy! You can claim being bigger than Wales, Malta, Cyprus etc, but you already ...

Actually they are very feisty games NOC but they just get up and get on with it unlike the men unfortunately. Maybe the refs like that approach :?:

Surprised it's taken someone this long tbh, a proven scorer in the PL and relatively cheap, you would think teams like Villa and Sunderland would be beating down his door.
A replacement for Shane Long who could be on his way to Spurs.

I think you are thinking of the old style carpet 'astro turf', get down to the Parks and check it out if you get a chance, its longer 'grass' so you do actually slide on it, you can get burns on it but you can get them from grass doing the same thing. Im still not sure why we don't wet them here th...

So he thinks Coquelin has the maturity to carry us through the league, FA cup & European cup. He really believes Giroud is good enough to be our lead striker. I'm not for buying just for the sake of it but we are below par in these key positions and it should have been dealt with, we have the c...

Quick couple of questions

1- Why do clubs send their coaches to the FFSA Coaching Courses?

2- How many clubs have given the FFA National Curriculum a go?

So for example you have 2 players out of 10 that have the say 90% of the ball when they on the pitch (they are all on 80% for equal game time). Then the other 8 have to struggle with each other to get a chance for possession in the other 20% of the game when the other 2 players are not on the pitch...

EPL clubs have spent £360m so far up by £60m on last year. ....and Spurs haven't spent a Penny yet!!! That looks set to change soon with the imminent arrival of Ben D...

Great to see Ross Aloisi be appointed as Head of Women's Football.
