agreed with comments about comets. they used a good strategy to counter ade city style and catch them on the break. They nearly got there. well done

Clubman, I dont think Barcelona said the state team players are struggling. I have seen a few of their games and these two boys have had no problems competing in the u15 comp.

If they are the right age , it doesnt matter where they play - if they are playing up and then come down for a game - no problems - makes everyone else lift their game

Re: CUFC U16'S PLAYERS 2012

You blokes had enough players turn out when you first trialed last year in Oct and you told a lot of thos boys that they werent up to standard and didnt offer them a position - looks like you shot yourself in the foot. It's a know problem with the age group of 16/17 that boys stop playing football t...

Re: Manchester United Cup 2012

I wouldnt say seaford is an easy team. Adelaide city u14s played them last year in a cup round and got thru by the skin of their teeth. They were a physical , fast team that if they are the same group of lads as last year will push any team.

Re: National Youth Championship - Coffs Harbour

Could have been a better result if the kids hadnt arrived 9pm on the night before their 9:00am kick off. The boys started slow but as the comp progressed they showed the quality football we have seen them play. Congratulations also to the coaching staff for enabling the boys to play good possesion f...

Re: Skillaroos 2012

Now I am not the sharpest tool in the shed but isnt the point of the skillaroos to develop identified players. Wouldnt a player develop more if they stayed and played with their clubs and also trained with the skillaroos and played mid weeks games with the skillaroos. I would have thought this way t...

Re: Results Round 6

HarryfishnChipps - you are a tosser - obviously just a rumour monger with no idea. In regards to the result, Campbelltown kids were hungrier for the ball and played a good passing game, as did the AC kids. In regards to punishing the kids – what a load of crap. The training was optional and what it ...

There was a diff of opion on how u14A ABE should have played - a lot of the people on the ground could here the discussion. From where I was standing it sound like the u14A coach was advising the senior coach that if he was interested in coaching the14s he should have put his hand up at the start of...

Re: Skillaroo u/14

Was at the game - generally good standard - probably played at too fast a pace. One of the WA goals was from a free kick just outside the box. Every team will score from that position at this age. The skillaroos could have looked for a simpler passes - but thats a learning experience.
