+ 1 I dont write often but I will on this topic, perhaps just to give another perspective. I am a parent of a my beautiful daughter who was lucky enough to be invovled in Schoolgirls for 2 years. We as a family could also not afford for her to go. We were lucky enough to get some sponsorship through...

Re: Messi scores 86 goals in a calendar year

I think performing well at the highest level, and therefore getting accolades as "one of the best" means having a very good World Cup. That is, against the best opposition attacks, defences, midfielders I don't think it is necessary to win it. E.G. Alfredo Di Stefano, Ference Puskas, Johan...

Re: Lady Reds vs Sydney FC

Disapponting performance from Adel Utd. Got outplayed in the final (our defensive) third. No. 22 movement off the ball wasn't tracked and she cut us apart. We controlled the midfield for most of the second half but couldn't translate that to goal scoring chances. I wonder if Racheal Quigley starting...

Re: U15 & U17 team question

Just a minor point, but in the past a player can only play Reserves if they are at least 14yo. I think you can get permission from the FFSA If the player is younger and wishes to play Reserves. As a prior post stated, it ultimately depends on what the players football goals are. If unsure about whic...

Re: W League ???? whats going on...

Sad Gal - whilst many people are not comfortable hearing the truths you convey, I'm not sure how any club can force a player to play for them? My understanding is that Olympic players, passionate about their football, sought a club to further their football goals. And therefore sought a coach with a...

My number one rule...... Next rule is to keep an eye on them and if they feel like they need to vomit or t...

Super_Trooper I thought the rules this year are that once an overage player is named on a team sheet for Prems, they can only play down to the next level (in your club's case, would be Reserves). It would mean you cannot play Div 1 again. The instructions/rules issued by the FFSA did not make an exc...
