Re: SAASL Affiliation to the FFA/FFSA

Seems the benefits of affiliation is mostly for ffsa under pressure from ffa. It is the database they value and the fees that can be raised from that base. ffsa should be the ones paying saasl an annual fee for access.

Re: Ingle Farm

Been at Ingle Farm since dot. Have seen many players come and go. Nothing new. Teams age, lifestyles change particularly with the arrival of kids. New players arrive egos get crushed. No player wants to admit it is about money so they find other justifications. Some players embrace the club and its c...

Re: Sunday Premier Div 1 - final standings prediction

No doubt the ability to win the title has been influenced by money. Recent years have seen teams buy a title it seems.Thats the way it is now, but who wouldn't love to see a small club and players with just passion and heart buck the trend.

Well I guess if he is on the committee he will have a say on lots of things other than just coaching,
but why is that too much power.... the results since simmo has been at the farm suggest otherwise.

Re: FFSA v SAASL: Where to from here?

Just a thought to enable the charity games at least... can they stop a player playing for or against an "invitation side" with two teams created (and insured etc) just for the event, but no official affiliation?

Maybe the starting pointis to use some money that we (SAASL)have to commission a professional body or persons to survey all existing, retired or resigned refs etc. as to what their thoughts are and what it is that motivates them to take up the job or quit. Their brief could be to survey all stakehol...
