Founded in 1949

The club was founded in 1949 under the name of Beograd and played its first game in 1950 in the SASFA second division. Its first game was against Prospect United on Saturday 15th of April 1950 which it won 5-2

The club played its initial games at a ground on the corner of Greenhill Road and Goodwood Road in the South Parklands.

Over the years the club has been a very solid performer and has been particularly successful with the number of players who have won the player of the year award. Ten White City players have the player of the year award.

The club has progressed steadily since the early years introducing good facilities for its spectators which includes clubrooms, seating and an enclosed car park area.
