Qantas Socceroos Head Coach Pim Verbeek has selected a squad of 23-players for the AFC Asian Cup 2011 Qualifier against Oman which will be played at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex on Saturday 14 November in Muscat, Oman (kick-off 6:00 pm local, 1:00am AEDT).

Mark Bresciano returns to the Qantas Socceroos squad after a slight knee injury prevented him from joining the national team for the recent international friendly against the Netherlands and the AFC Asian Cup 2011 qualifier against Oman in Melbourne. Bruce Djite, Brad Jones and Mile Sterjovski also return to the squad for the first time since helping the Qantas Socceroos qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in June. Goalkeeper Adam Federici receives his first call-up since the 2010 FIFA World Cup Asian qualification match against Uzbekistan which was played in Sydney in April of this year.

Last month, the Qantas Socceroos defeated Oman 1-0 in the AFC Asian Cup 2011 qualifier at Etihad Stadium to move into equal top position of Group B. The first meeting between the Qantas Socceroos and Oman was at the AFC Asian Cup 2007 in Bangkok when the teams played out a 1-1 draw in the group stage of the tournament at the Rajamangala Stadium.

The Oman v Qantas Socceroos match will be broadcast live and exclusive on FOX SPORTS 1 with coverage commencing from 12:30am AEDT on Sunday 15 November.
